About the Course
MIT xPRO’s Requirements for Large-Scale Universal Quantum Computation is Course 2 of 2 in the Quantum Computing Realities program, focused on what it really takes to scale from today’s noisy devices to fault-tolerant, large-scale quantum systems.
You will learn the role of fault tolerance, the basics of quantum error correction (including code families and parameters), and how to think about mitigating systematic versus random errors, with an assessment exercise using the IBM Q Experience.
The course is online, runs 4 weeks, requires about 3 to 5 hours per week.
