About the Course
MIT xPRO’s Quantum Algorithms for Cybersecurity, Chemistry, and Optimization (Course 2 of 2 in the Quantum Computing Fundamentals program) shows how key quantum algorithms could outperform classical methods in real use cases, and what has to be true for those gains to be practical.
You will work through demonstrations and simulations, including tools like the IBM Q Experience, and learn the engineering requirements plus the scientific limits that shape what is realistic today.
The course is online, runs 4 weeks, takes about 4 to 6 hours per week.
